Our WT555 challenge today is to use a paintbrush. I wet down my smaller panel (wc cs) with water and then added colors with my paintbrush, letting it drip and blend a bit. After it dried I used my paintbrush again to splatter diluted ink and white acrylic paint to create the "snow". Once that dried I sprayed shimmer mist over the whole panel for a shimmery effect. Die cut my trees (LOVE THEM!), stamped sentiment, and then assembled w/ dimensional tape.

Maura, absolutely GORGEOUS! Love the divine sky with the white silhouetted trees and the moon shining above all. The spatters add so much and take it from ordinary into extraordinary.

Maura, what a simply beautiful brushed background you created. You make it sound so simple, but it would take me ages to produce something this lovely. The card reminds me of a long winter walk through the park one evening looking for something that had fallen off DH's motorbike. After a couple of miles we gave up and turned back, and walking into a similarly beautiful sunset was my reward.
